QUALIFICATIONS: The Western Acres Golf Course is looking for cashiers to join our staff this summer and fall. The cashier will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to cashiering and must have great customer service. This position will require working weekends, afternoon and evenings. Must be at least 21 years of age. Previous cashiering experience is preferred, good communication skills are necessary and some computer knowledge is required.

DUTIES:   The staff’s job is one of service to the public and consists chiefly in getting the golfing public onto the golf course with the least delay and hardship. The staff should encourage the golfing public to observe proper golf etiquette.  The workday is divided into the opening and closing shifts- hours and time will vary throughout the season because of time changing and length of daylight hours.

QUALIFICATIONS: The Lombard Park District is looking for an Assistant Gymnastics Coach to join our staff. The Assistant Gymnastics Coach is responsible for assisting staff and participants in the instruction of tumbling and gymnastics classes. Must be 16 years of age or older. Previous experience is preferred, but not required, be able to work some weekends. This position reports to the Athletics Program Manager and Head Gymnastics coach.
DUTIES: Assist the instructor in any assigned task or activity. Be familiar with the safe operation of any equipment necessary in accomplishing required task.

QUALIFICATIONS:The Lombard Park District Paradise Bay is looking for swim lesson instructors to join our staff this summer. Experience working with children in/or out of aquatic environments is preferred, but not necessary. Must be 16 years of age or older. Must be willing to work with children ages 1 – 15 years. CPR/First Aid training preferred or will train. Must be available Monday-Friday mornings and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday evenings from June to August. Must be available for training sessions in May. Must work under supervision and direction from the Swim Lesson Manager.
DUTIES: Enforcing pool rules, teach assigned class level, demonstrate a positive attitude, create lesson plans for each class, supervise classes, be responsible for participants in classes, accurately complete progress reports and report cards, administer First Aid/CPR if needed, set up and put away lesson equipment, perform additional duties as needed.
