eye-catching tulips! As an added bonus, enjoy the many free concerts and
attractions that will be provided in Lilacia Park during Lilac Time!
Set on the former estate of Colonel William R. Plum, Lilacia Park boasts
200 varieties of lilacs and 50 varieties of tulips along with perennials,
annuals, a picnic area and more. The people of Lombard are forever indebted
to Colonel Plum who bequeathed his lilac collection to the village in
1927, thus ensuring Lombard's lilac heritage.
From the West: Take I-88 or I-80 to I-355 North. Exit Roosevelt Road and go east (right). Turn north (left) on Main Street. Turn west (left) on Maple Street. Lilacia Park is one block up on the right.
From the North: Take I-294 South to Route 64/North
Avenue west. Take to Main Street-Lombard and go south (left).
Turn west (right) on Maple Street. Lilacia Park is one block
up on the right.
From the East: Take 290 West to I-88 West.
Exit at Highland Avenue and go north (right). Take to Roosevelt
Road/Route 38 and go west (left). Go north (right) on Main Street.
Take to Maple Street and go west (left). Lilacia Park is one
block up on the right. You may also take the Metra Union Pacific
West Line to the Lombard stop. Lilacia Park is less than one
block walking distance.
From the South: Take I-355 North. Exit Roosevelt
Road and go east (right). Turn north (left) on Main Street.
Turn west (left) on Maple Street. Lilacia Park is one block
up on the right.
